why greek ban

by: ??

What happened last week was terrible and shouldn't have ever happened anywhere, much less at LSU. But why are a couple guys decisions reflecting on all Greek life? Obviously hazing a big thing with frats, but not sororities at all. Why punish everyone for the wrongdoings of few?

Sororities do their share of hazing, maybe not at LSU but on other campuses. Just look at Greekchat under 2017-18 Colonies,Chartering,Closures and you will see there is already 7 NPC Orgs. that closed chapters this semester and the semester just started a month ago. In fact, you need to look at previous years and you will see that NPC Org. closes about 10 to 12 chapters a year due to Risk Management.

It part of the culture. All must change before true change can happen. That is the way it must be. All must pay the price for the few. LSU has no choice but to be a start on a necessary road to change.

Most people don't realize the difficulty in the Chancellor's decision. I congratulate him for it.
