chi omega quota

I know a few girls from my high school that went Chi O. I'm now hearing that they didn't make quota this year. I've always thought that they were top tier. Is this true, or a nasty rumor started by another house?

Definitely a rumor. And, yes, this site is filled with nasty rumors usually made up by girls who just got a bid that are trying to boost their own group by trying to put down other groups. Also, Chi O is THE top house, so I'm sure they met quota.

ChiO takes their top "status" for granted and puts on a mediocre rush. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make quota as girls this year were ranking other sororities over them (and not just talking about the top 3). They are a disjointed sisterhood and I think it shows during rush

So what was quota? How many girls did they have on Bid Day? It seems pretty easy to figure out unless they offered snap bids.

No they did not make quota (but barely any houses did), and yes they are one of the top tiers. Due to the low number of pnms and ADPi, barely any of the sororitysmade quita

Chi Omega is a great group. There is less interest in sororities in general. The numbers were down this year. Most girls can not afford the dues.

Stop posting random shut on here. The reason numbers were down this year is not because people are not interested in sororities. It is because enrollment at LSU is down because of the tops fiasco. You people are stupid.

Quota is set by dividing the number of girls going through recruitment by the number of houses. So, it doesn't matter if there are 2000 or 200 girls going through, the number will change each year according to the number going through. Yes there were fewer girls going through recruitment this year, so quota was less than last year. Making quota has NOTHING to do with another sorority being added or fewer girls going through. It has to do with the strength of how well the chapters recruit. Saying that lots of top tiers didn't make quota because a new sorority was added or because there were fewer girls going through is total bs.
