greek life suspended?!

We should all learn a lesson from this tragedy I think at least on year of suspended activies is appropriate. I am willing to do this.

We should all reflect that something like this could happen at LSU. There have been many deathsin the greek system here at LSU not just hazing, but suicide.

Maybe it is a good time to step back and see what is not working. The suspension should stand at least this year.

It is absolutely ridiculous to penalize sororities for what a frat is accused of doing. I know that NPC sororities are against hazing and I know for sure that mine does not haze and never has.
I will never make another alumni contribution to LSU or suggest to any young person that they attend LSU as long as this travesty goes on. The death is tragic, of course, and should not have happened. Don't blame innocent people which I deem the sororities to be. I am so ashamed of LSU for "throwing out the baby with the bath water" as my Louisiana grandmother used to say.

Reality check,

Just exactly have much have you given to LSU. It used to be greeks donated, now they bitc.. about dues and other fees. The giving by greeks has gone WAY DOWN to the University. Stop living in 1950, you girls aren't as great as you say you are.

I just sent the Alumni office a check in honor of the Chancellor's decision as did my parents. Just suck it up and deal with the suspension. You can always get a drink at a local bar.
