out of staters

What is everyone's problem with being out of state. It is frowned upon to have out of state girls in the sorority, but when you look at it they are some of the richest girls in the school. I just don't get it

its not frowned upon! really its just that out of state girls dont usually have connections. girls from louisiana typically know more girls in the sororities which makes it easier for them to get in the ones they want where as out of state girls typically dont know girls in the sororities! it doesnt really matter though! out of state girls are awesome too

The Baton Rouge/Lake Charles/Manderville/Lafayette chicks are just plain jealous of the out of state girls. It's been a long standing position that date back to my grandmother's sorority days at LSU.

Petty typical Louisiana behavior. The women from New Orleans are advanced enough in their thinking to avoid this.

I'm from Pierre, South Dakota and love my sorority. Got my first choice too. People here are very nice to me with the exception of a girl in the sorority that has 3 equal letters who said I would have a hard time fitting in because of where I was from.
