They are both chapters recolonizing again at LSU. They have many similarities meaning they both closed their chapters in the 80's and they are both in the rebuilding stage. Alpha Phi has had 5 years to reestablish themselves and have done extremely well during their last 5 recruitments. That being said they have a thriving sisterhood, a very strong philanthropy and a beautiful new house. However if you want to be part of something new and have strong leadership skills and want to get involved quickly I would say ADPi. They also have a beautiful house and are very active in their philanthropy. Both chapters are bottom or near the bottom with chapter grades/GPA. It's very hard to compete during recruitment with the larger established sororities that have maintained a strong alumni base and legacies in the area. I have no doubt that both sororities will continue to grow and recruit well. In the next couple of years ADPi will be a strong mid tier chapter with Alpha Phi.
