advice please
by: PnmI was loving a sorority and I swore they loved me. One girl said aren't you excited for sisterhood round and talked about being my big. I was having such great connections, and then I get cut from that sorority, Right before sisterhood round! Why do they get your hopes up and make you think you're gonna get in and then cut you?!

that girl should absolutely not have been saying that, I am so sorry :( shame on her! she may have truly liked you but she should know better than to lead someone on in that way, ESPECIALLY this early in rush. No one should be talking about being someone's big sis during rush...like its questionable even on pref night!!

Yes tell your gamma chi!! That is absolutely not allowed in any round of rush. Saying "aren't you excited for sisterhood" is considered "promising an invitation to the next round." Much less talking about being your big sis - that may be considered dirty rushing/promising a bid. Gamma chis always need to be notified in situations like this to make sure it doesn't happen to someone else. The sorority that is right for you will never break any blatant rules that way!
