churches

are there any churches like church of the highlands (in Alabama) around LSU??

There is a Church of the Highlands here but I'm sure it's different from the one in AL. Also if you're non-denominational there are very popular churches called Healing Place on Highland Rd (it's far from LSU though) and the Chapel on Campus (on LSU's campus). So I would recommend trying those! Hope you find a church here because it's very important to keep your faith in college!!! :)))

Would definitely recommend Healing Place Church! I've been going for years, and I love it! It's worth the drive

Try University Methodist! Great pastor, friendly people and really a cool college age group.

I tried the Chapel and found it a bit like a sorority rush party. You need to be "IN" before you go. They have some fave people and well the rest of us are left out. Also be prepared to get the hard sell on CRU. The Healing Place is nice BIG and worth visiting.
