2017 rush

All of the sororities at LSU are great, they just all have different personalities and you have to find the personality that fits you best. For example, ChiO is probably the most popular sorority on campus, but when I went through rush, after only the first round I knew that I would never want to be a ChiO because I just did not feel comfortable there. However, if you're adamant about being in a ~good sorority~ you need a great GPA, lots of community service work, and absolutely amazing recommendations from either notable people from that sorority or close family friends/family members that actually can actually vouch for you. As for spring parties, you should know that sororities don't throw the parties, the fraternities do and none of them are crazy about having high schoolers there because its a liability issue. If you want to go meet girls from the sorority though, lots of the sororities have their big philanthropy events in the spring, definitely attempt to go to them so you can meet people and show your interest.
