adpi recruitment

So I am currently rushing and the only house I have left is Theta and I do not really love it. I am worried that if I do drop out and try to get into ADPi then I will not make it. Does anyone know what kind of girls they are taking and if so how many.

Talk to your Gamma Chi. She is there for you and will give you great advice and options. You don't want to take a bid away from someone that really loves this sorority.

You sounded awful when you said that. Maybe you don't even realize how terrible that sounds. I believe someone with manners would have said I am left with a house I am not interested in. Why would you say the name? How hurtful to those women singing and clapping their hearts out. It would hurt my feelings if my sorority were mentioned by name like that. They may not be what you want but there are a lot of really wonderful ladies in every group. No fault in not wanting to pledge there but come on.

It's not like ADPi will be better than any of the houses already here in the first few years and hopefully they don't take girls with your attitude

If it's anything like what happened when APhi joined, they'll recruit out of the leftovers from the other houses and probably take girls who were blackballed from traditional rush due to reputation or grades

Don't be such a witch! Wish them well. Every new chapter has to work hard and endure growing pains including the one you are in when it first came to this campus! I guarantee that the founding members of Aphi were honored to be chosen when it recolonized and these girls will be too!

The "honored" members of aphi were girls whose grades and reputations couldn't get them in anywhere else. What other sorority would take girls that slept their way through entire sigep pledge classes??

Wasn't even trying to be snarky about it, that's just what happens. Girls who didn't get the sorority they wanted or who didn't get a bid will try ADPi and a lot of the other girls they take will be have "the look" but not the rep. It might also be hard for them to get a huge group of quality girls since rush happened so late and since APhi is still very new.
