spring transfer
by: Help!Alright so I'm from Texas and I'm going to a small Jr college for a semester just to give me more time to think about the big picture but j plan on transferring to LSU next semester and was wondering if spring rush is worth it

To be honest, spring rush is not worth it because it is either A. sororities that didn't make quota in fall recruitment or B. very low tier sorority. Chapters like Chi O, KD, Tri Delt and Kappa do not participate in spring rush. But it is up to you, you may find you like the lower tier sororities more.... who knows!

please disregard the comment above. The whole "tier" situation is completely stupid! Spring rush is a lot more chill and laid back compared to the week long hell in the Fall! Spring rush includes sororities that 1) did not meet their quota or 2) it is in their by-laws (which is in quite a few chapters here at LSU). If you wanted to go ahead and jump into a sorority and avoid the week long hell of rush, have a couple less options (but tbh, TAKES TONS OF STRESS OFF!), and really get to genuinely know the houses more than you would during fall rush, then i would rush in the spring. BUT, if you wanted to wait until the fall, you would be able to meet a lot of girls in the sorority beforehand, will have a couple extra options, and will have a more involved recruitment class.
