Maybe because they realized that Zeta is promoted as a brand and it wasn't what they thought it would be? I've seriously heard this over and over, that their nationals cranks the P.R. machine. The crown symbol actually has nothing to do with royalty so maybe those who drop figured they'd be part of some BIG royal court when they pledged and they were disappointed?

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Louisiana State University - LSU 2.2 The tiers have been changing at LSU and zeta is one of the sororities that gets thrown around. I'd say they shouldn't be ranked middle tier until they become more involved. I never hear about zeta doing anything around LSU or in the greek community. Haven't heard anything bad about them lately, but to be honest you never hear anything at all.
