Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Louisiana State University - LSU 2.6 Look, they do not have a house, which is a major thing I would look at if I was an incoming freshman PNM. As far as being popular with fraternities, yeah, they are, but it's because they are full of easy girls who had no where else to go. These 5-star reviews are nothing but self-promotion. They were not selective, and I plenty of girls who dropped them because of the poor quality of girls they had amassed. These girls are in Alpha Phi for a reason. Rush at your own risk.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Louisiana State University - LSU 2.6 Alpha Phi was new to campus this year. They were able to be very selective this year, and that is not suprising. It was an opportunity for so many girls to be the "founding sisters" and make LSU history. However, this year... what is the reason to join them? No house, no real sisterhood built, no history, and no expirience on campus. It will be A LOT tougher this year. The "new girls on campus" thing will only last so long.

It was an opportunity for so many girls to be the "founding sisters" and make LSU history. However, this year... what is the reason to join them? No house, no real sisterhood built, no history, and no expirience on campus. It will be A LOT tougher this year. The "new girls on campus" thing will only last so long.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Louisiana State University - LSU 4.4 DEAR PNMS: Alpha Phi was new on campus this year. Over 500 girls tried to rush them. On Bid Day they had less than 200. They were very selective. Although they do not have a house, one is currently being built. They have been very involved in Campus life. And I have heard nothing but good things about them from fraternities. They participated in almost every frats philanthropy event and placed at almost all of them. They are very fun to hangout with and most of them that I know are beyond sweet.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Louisiana State University - LSU 4.8 I agree with the person below on reading sites like these for PNMs. DO NOT base whether or not you like a house on what bias sites say. With that said, I do like the Alpha Phi house and I think they could've taken a huge pledge class of so-so girls but instead decided to try to stick to standards and take a medium class of girls they felt deserved to be founding sisters at LSU which says a lot, I think. With that said, PNMs: keep an open mind to all the houses.

They cut a lot of girls who rushed them in September, so don't believe the critics on this site! They have done really well for their first year. Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Louisiana State University - LSU 3.2 There are a lot of posts about alpha phi being the "sloppy seconds" of rush, but I personally know many girls in it who didn't go through formal recruitment to begin with. Like every sorority, there are girls who can portray the organization negatively. However, it seems as if their exec is taking these instances seriously - as there are girls who are no longer members. It simply isn't fair to generalize based off of a few things that happen with colony classes at every school.
