smu vs tcu

Nobody here chooses TCU. Most of us got stuck here cause we didn't get into UT or it was the only away school our parents would pay for. Sadly SMU isn't much better.

I'm sorry for the previous response, I doubt whether they actually go to TCU. Most people that go to school here love it. TCU and SMU are both great school, but the thing that separated TCU for me was the campus atmosphere. You won't get anything close to a TCU gameday at SMU, that might be the best part of TCU. In terms of academics, both schools are so close that it really shouldn't be a determining factor.

First, I bet the first poster is not a real TCU student. Over half of us are from out of state so we don't care about UT and we certainly didn't want to apply there. It's probably the same troll from a few months ago that said almost the exact same negative things about attending TCU. They claimed they went to school here but kept calling our Greek houses lodges. Only Texas Tech calls houses that.

I didn't apply to SMU because I knew TCU was the place for me. Everyone is friendly, TCU football and baseball games are a blast, and Fort Worth is a fun city to live in. I like the small feel of TCU so that I know many of the other students as well as my professors. I know my friends and I are loving it and can't imagine being anywhere else.

No different really. Both are super conservative.
