Thoughts about a Junior girl rushing in the Fall?

It can be tough for juniors, I won't lie. It's worth trying, though.

If formal recruitment doesn't work out for you we will have a new sorority, Phi Mu, that will be starting this fall just after recruitment is over. They will want girls from all classes, so being a junior won't be a disadvantage at all.

It can be tough, but you will probably get a house. I know somebody who went through at 24 years old. She loves her sorority. Go for it!

There will be sororities that discriminate based on age. But if you have an open mind, you should find a group that fits for you. I hope you go through rush.

Theres nothing wrong with going for it, but it may be a little awkward being a junior in the freshman pledge class.

Every house has upperclass quotas so you should go for it

All house shave upperclassmen quotas so don't let this keep you from giving it a try and wondering what would have been

I personally know girls that successfully have rushed as a junior. You will be fine.

You can have a successful rush experience as a junior. You may not have as many choices but all house will have a quota they are required to meet. The majority of your Pledge Class will be girls right out of high school so you may want to think about if that matters to you. Personally, I would encourage you to give things a try.
