I attended TCU for a year and a half before transferring. During my first year of recruitment on the active side I was absolutely repulsed to find that a girl with autism was cut by every single house. I am so disgusted by the Greek system that I expirenced at TCU. Hopefully you ladies learn to be more open minded and not care as much about what other people think.

Girls with autism often have trouble maintaining eye contact and making small talk. If she was looking away and couldn't carry on a conversation, she might have been perceived as being not interested in that house. So they cut her. I'm sure she didn't submit a doctor's note saying that she should be excused from conversation because of autism. I think you're being too hard on the actives. They only have a few minutes to make a decision and it's easy to cut people who seem disinterested in your house. Maybe if she makes some friends in houses who actually know her, she could go through informal and do better.
