I cannot state that no 21 year olds have ever went through recruitment but since that is the age of many graduates, ask yourself if you would want to be put in a group of 18 year olds that are just out of high school. It is something that each individual would have to decide for themselves but you should consider it.

All houses do have upperclassman quotas they are required to fill during each recruitment. It will but competitive because there are not as many upperclassman spots but there also are fewer upperclassman going through than freshman. If you want to give it a try do not let anomonous strangers cause you not to.

I'd give formal recruitment a shot and see if you get called back to any houses you're interested in on pref day and if not you can drop out of formal rush and do COB/informal rush after! Also Phi Mu is going to be new on campus next year so if you're interested in becoming a colony member of that sorority that is a possibility too!

You can go through recruitment and with upperclassmen quota should get a bid if you are a good canidate. I would wonder more if you would enjoy hanging with a bunch of 18 year olds right out of high school...You spend a LOT of time with your Pledge Class and you will be in a different mindset as a Junior. There are so many other options for getting involved on campus that I would consider those instead.

other girls have been successful in going through recruitment and juniors. Do not let one stranger keep you from your goal. Give it a try!
