lambda and phi kap
by: New Student:I will be coming here next year and was wondering which fraternity would be a better fit for me. I have cousins and really good friends in both fraternities and have been to both and like them equally. A lot of people also they are a lot alike. Im not concerned about the status of "being top house" but are these houses top on this campus and do a lot of people like them? Both seem like they have really cool guys and seem to have a lot of fun. Can someone just give me the stereotypes and reputations of each of these houses on this campus! Cant wait to come here next year and Go Frogs!

These are two middle of the road groups. If you really are concerned about who is "top" then I would tell you that the top tier consists of Phi Delt, SAE, Kappa Sig, and Sigma Chi. Lambda has a pretty douchey reputation as high school heroes to tell you the truth, and Phi Kap doesn't do much. Go where you fit in though.

Lambda is a very good house, they get reputation for being high school heroes solely because they are athletic, not because they are stupid--they were 4th in grades last year. Phi Kapp parties hard like Lambda but are not as smart and tend to be more guido california type guys

These to groups are similar in the looks and party department. You need to meet the members and go with the group you fit in best with. Don't let anonymous strangers tell you which one is better.

What separates Phi Delt, SAE, Kappa Sig, and Sigma Chi from Lambda and Phi Kap? Because people have always told me that Lambda and Phi Kap were by far the most social and have the best parties. In other words what do those so called "Top Houses" do that Phi Kap and Lambda do not? Just trying to get a feel for what each of the fraternities are like on this campus. Thanks for helping me out!
