Hi y'all,
so before recruitment, I was worried that I wasn't going to know enough about the true personalities of the sororities and accidentally join one that wasn't the right fit for me and so I used this website to try to give myself a little bit of a leg up. I want to tell you some things I have learned since then.
1) I truly don't believe in the "tier system"
HONESTLY, ALL of the sororities here are amazing and you will make fantastic memories and friends that will last a lifetime in ALL of them, of course some sororities have better grades, party more than others, are more involved and etc. but overall, they are all wonderful
2) if during you rush you love an "unpopular" sorority, then go for it
All that matters is that you're happy, don't listen to what other negative people have to say.
3) I wouldn't believe all of the ranking posts on this website. Just to be clear, I am not a Sigma Kappa or an Alpha Chi Omega but on this website they tend to be ranked near the bottom and I absolutely LOVE both sororities and seriously do not understand why people don't think that they are great!
4) some sororities will be a better fit for you and that's okay
but just bc you don't think you could see yourself in a certain sorority doesn't make it bad
5) with the exception of people who are dropped, the system really does work. I doubted it the entire week (I'm a seeing is believing person) but I really feel like I ended up in the sorority that is the best fit 4 me

TCU Panhellinic is better than one person on this thread is making out. The original post was well written and intended. The negative attitude does not do our school any favors. We are not in high school so the mean girl comments need to stop. If you are in a house were you feel connected and have friends that should be the most important thing. Tiers are pretty subjective but no matter what you think they are that doesn't change that the purpose of any house should be a positive addition of experiences to yoir college years. No more and no less.
