You can keep dreaming. You're the kind of stupid girl that stomps her feet and drops out after the second round because her princess self gets dumped.

This is the worst mindset you can have when going into recruitment. Unfortunately no matter what you do, you will sometimes get dropped without even knowing why. Also when you go through recruitment you will see that some houses give off different vibes and have different qualities they are looking for. For example zta and chio are completely different in so many ways. And it's the honest truth that you will probably only fit into one of those (that's just an example). Therefore it's almost impossible for PNM's to know "where they belong" until they go through recruitment. You may walk into the top four houses and find that you just don't fit in there and walk into the "bottom" house and find that you feel so comfortable. And my advice is to go with your GUT FEELING instead of ranking. You have a better chance of getting a house like that. I'm sorry to say that this is the attitude that most girls have that end up dropping simply because they set themselves up for disappointment from the start.

Going into recruitment with this attitude is a receipe for disappointment. Everyone here has a strong resume, money, connections and it is ridiculous how many girls are beautiful. So, your personality and how you interact will be what sets you apart the most. If you only want one house remember 1000 other girls are competing against you. If you do not have an open mind then you have a strong chance of getting no bid or dropping out. People keep posting this for a reason. Change your attitude and change your outcome.

Yes! Please make sure to immediately tell your chosen house they're the only ones you want. You want them to shower you with attention and not bother with us lowly houses! I'm SURE you will get a bid this way!

People are coming down hard but they are telling the truth. Chances are not high that you will get 1 house with 1000 competitors and this attitude could cost you enjoying going Greek.

Let this girl do what she wants. If she wants one of the four houses that she THINKS are top, then let her go for it. Who cares?

You're ok not being in a sorority "if that's what God's plan is for you." Really??

So using your very reasoning, either:
1. God will work his magic to get you a bid to a top house because, duh! That's where you belong!!

OR

2. You will drop out of rush because you are better than all the women in TCU's other sororities, and obvi it's God's will that you be saved from those houses.


Do you even realize how pathetic you sound? All TCU sororities are full of beautiful and talented women! All have great social events and sisterhood you won't experience outside a sorority. It's a shame you have such a high opinion of yourself that your blind to what God could really work inside you if you were open to knowing and accepting all sorority women!
