I agree with you. I don't plan to change the way I look. I like the way I look. But if everyone is going to drop me based on my piercings and colored hair, I would rather skip recruitment and spend my time and money somewhere else. Are there any edgie women in any sororities?

This is just one opinion but I have never seen a potential candidate with facial piercings or purple "lavender" hair. This might go over well at a state school but our campus is more conservative than this with appearance. Maybe I am wrong but that is as honest as I know how to be.

If you don't have confidence that the way people will perceive you is the way you truly are based on what you've done to your appearance, then you might think about making your outsides reflect your insides. If you keep the way you look and feel it really says something about you and are rejected by sororities, then you probably weren't meant to be a member.
