not going to lie. sororities can be a lot of press

I'm not going to lie. For me being in a sorority has been a hard go. I love many elements of it. But the pressure to always look good (even when you are pretending not to be trying to look good) is for me completely exhausting. Yes, sisterhood can be wonderful and the activities and collaboration are wonderful. But I really wish the CONSTANT photo ops and emphasis on fraternity relations were different. I really wish we could ease up on the pressure to please men with our visual appeal.

Try being yourself and see how it goes. If you are already initiated some of the pressure should be off.

My family went on a vacation recently and our only rule was absolutely no photos or videos. It was AMAZING. The transformation in interactions when people let go of the physical.
