nursing student

Hello TCU! I am an incoming freshman who plans to study nursing. I am sure every house has students in the Harris College. However, are there some chapters that have more nursing students? Do older sisters help new students with tips or study groups? Thank you for answering my question. Everything I am learning makes this major seem more time consuming than some but I want to go greek.

As a junior nursing major I'd say that my classes are pretty evenly divided. My last clinical group however had more AOPis than anything else, something I feel like I should mention because I don't think many people know this. Lots of DGs and XOs as well. Some of the "smarter" sororities will look for easier majors during recruitment but that doesn't mean it's impossible to get into that chapter. Good luck during recruitment!! :)

Staying with the academic and leadership chapters will likely fit your goals and values best:XO, KAT, GBP or AXO

This is such a big program here that every house has some nursing majors. Stick with the more academically minded ones though to help encourage your studies. Those groups are Chi O, Gamma Phi, AXO and KAT

The nursing program is so large that every group has some members pursuing this major. I would choose a more academic house over a heavy party one if given the option. Otherwise, you will find girls to connect with no matter which chapter you join.

I promise that the Harris College is so large that every single house will have members who are pursuing nursing. It would be smart to stay away from the groups that party to excess because this major takes a lot of study and maturity.

I would look in to Chi Omega, Gamma Phi Beta or Alpha Chi Omega for students pursuing this major.
