most competitive rush?

by: Curious

I'm a Texas gal who has friends planning on rushing at all the big Texas schools (UT, A&M, SMU) and some SEC (Arkansas, Alabama, etc.) but I heard from some alumnae that TCU's rush was one of the most competitive out of all those schools. What do you think makes TCU so much more cut throat than all the other schools?

UT is the most difficult followed by alabama and ole miss. you're most likely to get a bid at TCU over those schools.

I think TCU is easier because those other schools have big blocks of in state people who all have known each other for a long time, so it's very hard to get into a top sorority there unless you're one of those people and already known. Although the lower tiered houses at those schools are strong too, tradition makes the tier system pretty set in stone there. TCU has a broader geographic base, and the tier system is much more fluid. Almost all of our sororities can move up or down a tier with just one or two good or bad PCs.
