fashion question - it is too over the top

Is it to over the top to wear sandals and wedges by Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin for some of the later rounds of rush if it is kept tasteful and classy? What about a nice watch? I don't want it to be in your face, but if you have it why not wear it, but not sure how it would be viewed.

You certainly won't be the only one to have "it" but use these sparingly and with taste. Otherwise you just look like you are trying too hard.

You are asked not to wear watches actually. Simply because if you look at it during a party girls can get the impression that you're not interested in the conversation. The shoes are okay.

Just show your best style while following the guidelines. Don't be in your face tacky about brands because that is cheap behavior.
