because they aren't dropping. they just don't spend all their time on greekrank. trust me.....getting into tridelt during rush is not easy. they are a strong tradition house here and any guy would call them top tier.

Getting into Tri Delt is so hard they have to snap bid more often than not. They took girls this past recruitment the never would have taken years ago. They have become irrelevant for the most part. They have only themselves to blame too because this house had a great legacy.

I would agree that Tri Delt is still considered somewhat of a top sorority, and still pretty hard to get into.

However, you can't realistically say they are not dropping. In the last 4 years they have only held one event (other than formal) with a fraternity, and that was a Halloween party 3-4 years ago... The only other mixers that they have held have been with like theta, which, in my opinion, is barely a "mid-tier" sorority (no offense meant). Their pledge classes are one of the smallest. Their senior class was in the high 40s, while other "top sororities" had 70+... Several tri deltas I knew before college went even rushing tri delta as their #1 pick but got "stuck" with it.

Not seen Not Social Not classy Not academic Not wanted unless you are a Highland Park High Schooler. Snap bids, large groups of Seniors dropping the week of Recruitment, 37 alcohol violations...Does anyone need to go on?

They are honestly just not the top sorority they used to be. People do not think very highly of them to be honest, a lot of them are very mean. Tri delt is very popular in the south and I feel like the rely on their name way too much. In order to be that top sorority you have to be involved and have events and tri delt just isn't like that here.

They aren't "The" Top House. But they are top tier and underrated on this website. I'm sure that the girls on here hating on them were dropped by tridelt. I don't know any guys that would tell them no.

This was one of my least favorite houses during recruitment. They certainly did not have a top tier feel. The girls were awkward and mainly interested in your Daddy's bank account. (Mine is not lacking). They have had almost no socials, were dead last in grades only a semester ago, a never seen on campus but still manage red to get over 30 alchol vilotations and have had to snap bid to get a pledge class more often than not. Their sisterhood is so great a large group of Seniors dropped right before recruitment... They were top tier years back and have a well known name. That is about it unless you want to attend Highland Park High grades 13-17.

Completely agree with dx3. Tri delt is NOT underrated. They aren't really liked around campus. And is the fact that no guys would tell them no supposed to mean something? Pretty sure a lot of guys would not tell ANYONE no

Tri Delts maintain a low profile and stick together. These leads some to view them as exclusive and some to view them as past it. The facts are they often snap bid, hold spring recruitment due to a high drop rate, were dead last in grades last semester and do not get along with the other sororities. On the other hand those that choose DDD LOVE their chapter and have tremendous pride. This is a love them or hate them group with little in between. You will have to choose for yourself where you fall. There is no right or wrong to this question either.

DDD girls tend to be from Highland Park or Houston on our campus. (Of course there are exceptions) This tends to lend itself to a high school year 13 mentality with a heavy focus on how rich your Daddy is, how many labels to put on and general cattiness. This chapter has gone down because of this. They do not do much socially or otherwise on our campus and tend to rely on an old name to get them by. They were also last in grades. If they didn't have their name they would be bottom but the name keeps them middle tier.

Snore....the whole "last in grades" thing is really getting old. I'm not a big fan of DDD myself, but to make a big deal about .2 difference from the house that was "first in grades" is ridiculous. All the houses had about the same grades. And personally I'm leery of a house that is too high in grades. It usually means they have a bunch of communications majors.

Their membership has fallen in every area. They are not well liked or involved anymore. They earned over 30 alcohol violations recently but have earned no accolades as a chapter. There is nothing top tier about that. They do get a lot of shade on here but maybe if they were nicer and positive people would like them better. There is a small group of incoming girls who desperately want to be Tri Delt but they have a high drop rate and often need to snap bid to fill there PC.

I have to start by admitting that this not a house I personally like but here is a honest observation. Tri Delt has a long history at TCU and had been the most desirable house for decades. They appreciate this proud past and that they are known as a "Texas" girl house. Unfortunately, that is about all that can be truthfully said about DDD. They are uninvolved, unfriendly, unsocial and undesirable with one but exception: a contingent of Highland Park and Houston girls want this group above anything else. If you fit the profile you will likely love them too. If you don't...

I have some good friends in this group but they are not involved as a chapter and can be very clicky making unpopular in many people's eyes.
