well being from Ohio won't hurt you during Rush, but going to a overpriced school on the other side of the country when there a plenty of great cheaper schools in your backyard, will set you back a lot in life . Plus your going to a school that wears purple and the mascot is a frog. Really?

I just want to know why someone who doesn't go to TCU is on our greek rank if they think our school is so dumb. Anyway, no! Being from out of state will not hurt you. Being a sophomore shouldn't either. There is an upperclassmen quota. However, make sure you have everhthing in order and are ready to compete with all of the freshman by having letters for each sorority, dressing accordingly to each day, and having good conversation skills! With all of that said, some chapters tend to take Texas girls more than out of state but each chapter has girls from all over the place. Make sure to keep an open mind and don't focus on top tier crap. Good luck finding your home! Welcome to TCU where our colors are purple, we have a frog as a mascot, and we are dang proud of it!
