don't believe everything you read
by: Attn PNMs:Girls who are using this to try to feel the "true personality" of houses, stop right here. This is what recruitment is for. You could read great things about a "top tier" house and then decide it definitely isn't for you, or vice versa. EVERYONE thinks their house is top tier. And some sororities frequent this website more than others. Quite frankly, all of this is BS. If you have questions about what to wear or say during rush, then this is a great tool for you. But don't use this as a tool to help you decide "i want this house because it's better than this house." The only way you'll get a feel for what house you truly belong in is by going through the recruitment process. Most of the stereotypes on this website are 5 years old, anyway. Just save yourself.

This thread has some people sharing their heart and giving wonderful advice. The top house will whatever house best fits your personality and offers you genuine friendship. That hoise might be "top tier" or not, the real goal of sorority life is a safety net of sisters to help you grow and to walk you through the happy and sad times of college life. Choose whatever house you feel that connection in and you are set.

This post addresses one of the mistakes many of us make before we even begin recruitment and that is thinking we already know what house we belong in. How could you possibly know before you give a real chance to every group? Every campus is unique so whatever you've heard may not be true here. Every house here changes slightly as girls graduate and new leadership steps up. Do yourself a favor and just wait until you experience a group before you think you know anything about it.
