Houses have been contacting girls already. It wouldnt hurt to email some sororities but unfortunately some have already given out bids such as sigma kappa and alpha chi. Your best bet is just to meet a lot of girls and prepare yourself for fall recruitment again

I honestly think houses are done with spring recruitment. Spend your time making bonds with girls and getting to know sororities and rush in the fall:)

i'm a sophomore and i'm just worried that houses will just discard me because at that time i'll be a junior. i just need to figure out ways to make myself stand out as a junior

Each house has a quota they must meet. Including bids to upperclassmen. If you're pretty, have good grades, a good personality, and good letters of rec then you could have a chance. But sometimes that's not enough so that's where friends come in. Make as many connections as you can, they can really pull you through the process.

should i tell my friends i'm thinking about rushing again? i just don't want them to think i'm desperate and using them to get into a house.

You missed spring recruitment-the quotas may help you in the fall. You are the perfect example of why girls shouldn't give up during their fall freshman rush because they don't like the house they get. If you had accepted your bid you would be deeply involved in the greek world if you chose to be.

it wasn't because i didn't like the house. it was because of financial/family problems that arose during rush week. i couldn't commit to something if i knew it wouldn't work out. now my problems have been resolved and i was just wondering what my options were, it's not life or death for me.
