I'm not stupid...zeta clearly self-ranked themselves as the best...which is why they're pathetic

Gamma Phi didn't do anything bad. Don't know about Zeta, but I will say that you are just speculating when you say you know who rated sororities. Can't tell if it is self ranking or just someone giving them a good comment.

for all you Nancy Drews out there. Break out that junior sleuthing kit and call in CSI for backup. I love how everyone on here "knows" which sorority is responsible for whatever misdeed. The truth is you have no clue. "Well so and so got 4 positive ratings on June 12, and whoever got six negatives. Obviously so and so is self ranking and, quite possibly, trying to achieve world dominance through the greekrank site!" You all sound so ridiculous it is embarrassing.

if you are going through recruitment you really shouldn't be looking at this site or any other ones like it. You'll only get negative ideas about all of the sororities on campus when they all have great things to offer. You have to listen to your gut and just go with it or else you'll get stuck in a house that you really didn't want to be in. This is coming from a girl who knew nothing about recruitment and ended up in a middle house and loves it. I love all my sisters and our standing compared to other houses means nothing to me

I agree. I'm from out of state and ended up in a sorority that is considered low here but is very good at my state school. Guess what? It's only considered low because they didn't get all the local girls they wanted. It's still filled with classy, smart, sweet, involved girls and I love being a member. So rank means absolutely nothing. Have an open mind and you'll find the perfect house.

As we enter recruitment season, please remember that this is not a good time to put down any sorority. There is a place for every girl and we do them a disservice when we rank houses and talk about the "lower tier." This encourages girls who are ashamed that they didn't get invited back to "top tier" houses to drop out of rush for fear of being ostracized as a pledge. All our houses are good. Try to promote greek panhellenism during recruitment. Encourage every PNM to complete recruitment and find a greek home.
