chi omega

From a guys perspective, I would never wanna be a chi o. They are not fun and very awkward. Chi o is my least favorite sorority.

They are a very popular house but they are not that great. Due to them taking in a lot of legacies some of the girls are weird and don't fit chi o description most people think of when they hear chi o.

Chi Omega is the TOP house at TCU. They are ridiculously choosy about who they recruit because they can be. They have the highest of standards in all areas.

Great girls but some are weird

Chi Omega is a highly desirable name both nationally and at TCU. The chapter here has strong ties to the alumni group so getting a bid is not like it is with other houses that follow the rules. This has caused resentment with some girls because they are known to promise you a bid and then drop you. IF you have the connections to get in this is a solid chapter and a lot of leadership positions all around the school are held by Chi Omega members.

Its pretty much impossible to be in a "top tier" house unless you have inside connections. They pretty much all are from texas or california and the ones that are not either know someone and have so much money they are thought of as great. its a terrible system honestly.

You can tell by the responses to this question that XO is controversial because of their recruitment tactics. It's a house for wealthy alumni daughters and that is about all.

This thread is interesting and shows how people view houses differently. All the responses are true, it just depends on your viewpoint.

I like the XO girls I know. They are smart and well put together. I have to echo others that they break every rule during recruitment and being forewarned I didn't listen to the "we can't wait to see you tomorrow" promises during recruitment. I didn't have any inside tricks. Even so, you have to give this chapter credit for being well put together and leaders in many areas. They are a very solid chapter.

Our Chi Omega house is always one girls want bad during recruitment. Unfortunately their group is kind of random because of the inside deals. Many say they are our top house but I'm not so sure.
