how does it work

How does the acutal process of spring rush work? Do you have to get letters of recommendation? Do you go house by house like in fall recruitment?

Spring Recruitment is more about knowing people. Not all houses will offer slots. Those that do, keep things quiet so having a friend pose your name for membership is best.

Now is a good time to check in with the recruitment chairman for every house. They can tell you if their house will be planning to offer spring recruitment and what they are looking for. Spring recruitment is offered if a chapter wants more members due to graduation of members, transfers away from TCU or members dropping out. It doesn't mean a house is bad. If fact, spring recruitment can get you into a top house without the grief of fall recruitment. It is a quiet and proactive process. Do not limit yourself by thinking you can know which houses will spring rush. There are lots of opportunities so start messaging now.
