I've heard the middle section of greek parking is being closed soon to turn it into a green zone for the new Greek Row. Will some houses be started during Christmas break? Will people have to move out of their old buildings?

I've heard the same thing but the school is being so sketch about answering what will really happen. People would like to know this if anyone has answers.

This is correct. As soon as the parking garage is complete the middle parking lot will be closed to begin work on the new Greek community. Many students will be forced to park in the new parking garage.

Who needs a green space when you can't park your car? It sounds great for later but those of here now can't park, won't get a new house probably and the library looks great on the outside but is a joke inside.

TCU is becoming a total money machine. Student experience is way less important than bringing in more students with a great looking campus.

Rent a cops trolling the greek late at night giving out tickets because there is not enough parking since they opened a new dorm without having the parking garage finished is getting old. Don't live in the greek next year it they don't fix this.

So they will demolish Brachmann and build a parking garage there. Once that garage is done, they will take all the center of the Greek that is a parking area and build a ALL the sorority houses at once. Then they will demolish all the old sorority houses and build the new fraternity houses a where the current sorority houses are. NONE of us should expect to still be here by the time all this is done.

No one will want to live in the greek next year!! Parking is already awful and when you add taking away the center to build green space--it was be awesome once we are all gone.
