who cares

What do you gain by "ranking" on here other than a false sense that you are better than some other imaginary tier.
Will you explain to your boss that you were in a top tier ? Sounds dangerous for fear they were at another school where your sorority was terrible.
Will you tell your boyfriend he should marry you since you were in a top tier? ( even though it's possible you were ONLY picked because you were a legacy)
Will you tell your neighbors they should be happy that you will be living in their neighborhood because you were in a top tier ( in your mind). I'm pretty sure they thought theirs was pretty good too. Will you compare notes of your houses "greatness".
Will your parents live longer, will it prevent you from divorcing, will it prevent you from having sick children, or heartache? Probably not.
It's four years of your life ... That is it. And you are spending your time trying to build yourself up, rather than trying to build up greek life here. Think about it. Do we really need to do this?

The most adult, honest point that I have ever seen posted on here. I do not stop by this website for the propaganda but on occasion there is good information. I learned about Phi Mu being our next house and what happened to early bids with the fraternities. All the mean comments are meaningless.

You're in college and you think it's spelled "rediculous?" Are you brain damaged?

It's college. It sure as hell matters where you are ranked now. No one gives an eff after college. It's all about the now!

Does it really matter what tier you are in? No. That said: This is the western world, and we are a competitive place. Does it really matter if my high school tennis team won state? No. But it does show that we worked hard, and competed to be the best team we could be. Being in a top tier sorority, is the same as being in the top tier anything. It doesn't really matter, but it sort of does.

Great insight and attitude. Every house should be top to their members and at the end of the day that is all that matters.

A smart way to look at things. Not everyone will agree because they can't see beyond the four years but it is life long friends that matter not letter on T-shirts you won't even wear much. How many of you wear your high school stuff now? Exactly...

People here at TCU have to rank their greek organization high, because everyone here is butt hurt about not getting into UT, SMU or A&M.

I DID get into EVERY university that I applied to, including SMU. I had no interest in being an Aggie or going to a school the size of UT. If you don't go here you have no reason to be on here. Get back on what ever pitiful place you came from.

You did not get into all those schools. None of us did. I'm happy to be at a school with rich slackers. It is a blast. Just go with it. Don't fight it.

If you really got into all those schools and you chose TCU then you are pathetic Momma's boy who was afraid of the big time. I admit this was my last choice. It beats the hell out of JC.

This is a status conscience school. Deal with it.
