Is it true that you have to know girls from high school to get a bid to certain houses? I'm nervous that coming from a very small high school and not knowing anyone along with so many girls rushing I'll be pushed to the bottom of the list..

Coming from a small school can work in your favor. You come in with a clean slate, and nobody has preconceived ideas about you. You will do great. Don't worry.

It can help but it also can really hurt depending on what the girls who know you really think of you. Go into recruitment with an open mind and good attitude. There are some things you just can't change like where you're from, so don't stress about it since there's nothing you can do.

Amen!! It matters a lot with XO and DDD but you have lots of options.

The credible sororities will consider all qualified PNMS, although some top girls will be overlooked because of numbers. Some groups already know who they want. It is important to be friendly and relaxed during rush parties. Remember, sororities can be nervous too during rush, especially sophomores.

With a couple of groups, yes they do start talking to girls while still in the "right" high schools but that is the exception not the rule. You will have many quality houses to choose from so do not let this worry you in the slightest.
