You will see it ALL during rush. Don't forget this is Texas. You will see the super Dallas Big Hairs with tons of pageant makeup to the California girls who wear none. And of course everything in between. The answer is just look your personal best...whatever that is. If you don't usually wear a ton of makeup then don't start during rush. It will be hot, and you want to be comfortable. You need to feel good about yourself.

Be yourself because you want sisters you can relate to. Don't pile on make up if your a ponytail and sweats girl or likewise try to play down your girly side because some stranger on here says to be natural. We are all people with individual preferences. You've been successful enough being you to be accepted into Texas Christian University. Just don't look like a stripper and you will be fine!

I couldn't have said it better. Different houses look for and attract different styles of girls. So, don't look like someone from Jersey Shore but look like the best you that you can be. I know the process is emotional but there will be a house of new sisters with similar values waiting to welcome you "home". Don't pretend to be something your not because you won't be able to sustain that.

Be your best self. Don't try to figure out what people are looking for because it varies as much as the people.

Duchess Kate is always classy with a natural pallet and nice liner. Play around with your looks for different days before you come. Not only do your clothes become nicer. But you might take your makeup and nail up a notch as the week progresses. I'd still keep with lighter colors of summer.

Have fun with your look but remember it has to hold up 100 degree weather and it's daytime so no dark/nighttime looks

I would agree with this person. If you try to change who you are for recruitment you won't be able to keep that up. Their May be a lot of girls this year but people should not be freaking out so much. You are good being you.
