time
by: pnmjust wondering, what exactly makes sororities so time consuming? meetings? philanthropy? sorry if this is a dumb question haha

They're really the most time consuming during the first semester freshman year before initiation. The whole chapter has weekly chapter meetings but new members usually have separate meetings on top of chapter for most sororities. Also a lot of houses require their members be involved in a certain number of things things around campus whether that be Panhellenic stuff, community service, other house's philanthropies ect. That on top of weekly meetings and figuring out school first semester just ends up taking lots of time.
