experience
by: WonderingI know that Greeks don't have houses, I don't know if they are building some or not. But even without houses, would you say that you still get a true southern sorority experience.
#2 by: Hi there!
At TCU we currently have dormitories rather than actual houses. We still refer to our buildings as houses though. The Greek housing is separate from the rest of the dorms on campus so in a way it's its own community. I lived in my sorority's house this past year and I would say I got the same experience as anyone would at a university with actual houses. When living in the house you make bonds with your sisters on a whole new level and you would experience the same regardless of what type of building you're living in. That being said, I would strongly recommend living in the house if you have the opportunity to do so.
Also, we are supposed to be getting actual houses sometime in the near future. I don't know the exact date of when they are beginning that construction but I'm thinking it will probably be complete within the next two years.

If you need a plantation mansion to feel sisterly don't come here. Our Greek community can stand up with any around.
