Tri Delt standing?

Hey y’all, I don’t go to TCU but I came on here to see where the houses stood. I am from Texas and a lot of the girls I know that I thought would be considered “top” girls go Tri Delt (think HP, Kinkaid, etc). I was surprised to see it’s ranked pretty low a lot of the time and was wondering why if anyone cares to elaborate?

You’re not wrong. For many years Tri Delt was the go to for the girls you are referring to. Over the last few years that has changed rapidly.

It is still the absolute first choice for top girls from HP, ESD, Westlake, Memorial, Kinkaid, etc.

So then why is it not a top house? Is it just bc so many out of state people at tcu that they make the rankings now? I go to Texas so I’m used to the houses that get the HP, Kinkaid, camp longhorn type girls being top.

I think the decline of tri-delt relates to how many non-texans are coming to tcu. actual top houses like Dg, Pi phi, Zta have caught on w recruitment taking girls from places like CA, IL, AZ. trying to get the best girls regardless of where they’re from. whereas DDD has stuck to dirty rushing the south, “zip coding”, and missed out on a lot of great girls bc of it.

all of campus hates them because they are classless, look at kappa and chi o’s bid lists, and just generally scandalous. cliquey, rude and mean.

I heard tri delt gave out snap bids too. This girl from my hs who I would never ever see in tri delt got a snap bid this year so I’m wondering about the decline too

Tri delts are the rich Texas girls. They hang out exclusively with SAE and Kappa sig the rich Texas and southern guys. TCU has changed dramatically over the last 20 years and the out of staters, especially the Californians dominate a big part of the Greek scene. These 2 groups don’t particularly care for each other. Tri delt is a great sorority for the kind of girls who would pledge top houses at Ole Miss or Bama.
