honest advice for pnms
by: poster
I rushed a couple years ago and when I went into recruitment, a girl from TCU who was in a sorority (and graduated 3 years prior) had sent me her personal opinions on each house on campus. So I had gotten "stereotypes" and preconceived notions about each house before I even step foot into a house or met any of the girls.
Honestly, when I went into each house and talked to the girls, I was able to sort out where I fit best. Obviously the stereotypes I had heard were in the back of my head but they never ended up being a deciding factor. I kept one house up until pref just because of their reputation, and although I had heard good things, I knew I wasn't a fit there and ended up cutting them.
You WILL know which house you belong in when you go through rush. You will get a feeling of belonging and go with your gut feeling. Don't stress about it and stop reading negatives things on this website!

Whoever wrote this message took the time to give truthful and unbiased advise. This is a rare thing on here. You will have heard names, you will know half truths and rumors but you will not know the actual sisters until you go in to recruitment and meet them as adults and honestly see where you feel comfortable and welcome.
