Are people not friends between sororities?
by: Question from pnmWith all the talk of tiers and how much different sorority reputations matter are people not friends across them? Like is it unheard of for a Pi Phi and a Phi Mu to be friends? Or a Chi O and an ADPi? Like do people just think girls in the lower tier ones are so weird they wouldn’t be friends with them? And if they would be friends with them then how do the tiers and rankings even matter?

Painful truth here is that people aren’t friends that much across tiers. There are exceptions but people in the same tier see each other more bc they get invited to the same things. Obviously if you’re in class or a club and you hangout with someone on opposite side of the spectrum you can be friends no one is stopping you but it’s less common and most people especially the first couple years are friends primarily with girls in their sorority just bc they have a lot of events with them, if someone is cool though I’m not going to not be friends with them bc of the sorority they’re in it’s just less likely I’ll see them enough to be friends

Let’s not lie to the pnms, lower tier sororities don’t get invited to as many parties so they don’t know as many people if you meet someone through an on campus thing you can still be friends with anyone in any sorority though but some people will judge you if you’re in the lowest ones but not everyone will

How is social/party scene different than being friends I don’t understand? So like you’ll be friends with someone in a different tier but you won’t be friends enough to invite them to parties?
