incoming nursing major

by: Tx C Bound

I have been accepted into the School of Nursing for the fall semester. All I hear is how demanding it is. Can you be successful in nursing and still be greek? Are there chapters that have more nursing majors than others? Thank you for honest advise.

As an incoming nursing major I found this post intetesting. It sounds like it will take determination but be greek and nursing but knowing which groups can help me most is good.

All chapters have nursing majors since it is such a big draw at TCU. Defiantly keep the academic groups in mind because you will find this major extremely demanding and you don't want to feel left out while you are studying and the bulk of your sisters are getting wasted.

All chapters have nursing majors. It is one of our biggest programs. It is also one that kicks you with heavy study hours to succeed. I've made it to clinical and love bonding with nursing majors from all houses. I personally choose a more academic house (KAT, XO or GBP) and I believe it has been a huge help to have sisters who study with me and get that nursing majors cannot study every night.

Those that choosing nursing are high achievers. If you are willing to devote the study hours required you can be successful no matter what.
