Don't think Phi Mu will be coming in the fall. Not meaning to mention this as a negative, but I don't think AOPi made quota during formal recruitment last fall (they are doing well in most everything including informal recruitment). I think the university and Panhellenic want to wait and see how AOPi does this year as well as the numbers in general for all sororities, to see if numbers continue to rise or plateau. Definitely would like to see quota go down though!

Another interesting component will be whether TCU will build extra houses in the Greek village for future growth. Phi Mu or any other potential fraternity or sorority will be at a major disadvantage without one.

It would be nice if the Panhellinic Coucil would let us know a definitive answer. The reasoning in comment 2 makes since. We have so many girls there seems room for another group but not if it harms AOPi or there is no housing. It always seems unfair that people comment negatively about Beta not having their own house but we all know our chapters have no power over that,

Maybe they will have their arrival coordinate with the building of the new greek housing. Waiting a while is smart because we do want AOPi to be well established before any their new group comes in. There is no reason to think greek numbers will decline with our university continuing to grow. This means more girls to choose from which should help AOPi.

It is wise of them to make sure AOPi is settled and meeting quota before we being another house. Their time will come soon enough.

AOPi isn't strong enough yet for more completion. It would be unfair. However, when Phi Mu does come they won't suffer from the new house syndrome anymore.
