It’s literally the worst kept “secret” at TCU. If you don’t know about it you’re not paying attention, or your financial situation is such that it never affected you.

Just because you don’t see it/don’t want to admit it doesn’t mean it’s a lie. I’ve seen this happen it’s the unfortunate truth. Almost all of TCU students in a frat or sorority are rich af and they like keeping it that way.

I think it is because most frats would not know yet if they are doing spring rush or not Not everyone does it They decide closer to the time spring rush happens

I’m going to keep it real with you guys as someone in the know: TCU frat rush is all about money/connections, even prior to official rush. They will look up your parents worth, they will Zillow your house, and they’ll judge you on your area/income. Wish I knew about that before I got involved in Greek Life there, and now that I’m freshly graduated it makes me feel dirty.
If you’re cool with that, by all means go ahead and try spring rush. You’ll hear about it through friends around springtime and such. If you REALLY want to be involved in Greek Life though and don’t meet those elitist requirements, I’d suggest you transfer to a school with a bigger, and honestly better, Greek system. TCU’s is toxic as hell.
