Am I missing something??!

Honestly, the rankings are so dumb. All of the chapters are awesome here. I’d say the rankings you see on here are based on how frats view the sororities, when in fact you’ll learn quickly that each sorority has girls who party, attractive girls, Christian girls, smart girls, girls super into philanthropy, sisterhood, you name it. If you ranked solely based on GPA, philanthropy, sisterhood, or another category the rankings would be much different. I’ve already graduated, and let me tell you no one cares what chapter you are in after freshmen/sophomore year if even. And the only people who care then are frat pledges who were told to think that way or people who are stuck in high school.
I know I can speak for many when I say that I had friends in most of the chapters, so don’t let “rankings” affect your recruitment. Find the chapter that you feel the most comfortable in and enjoy meeting everyone! TCU is a small enough school that you are going to continue to run into many of them over the years. Good luck!!

Literally bumping this to the top until recruitment is over. Sororities are supposed to be fun, and the rankings ruin that. Enjoy recruitment and your new sisters (& Panhellenic sisters!)!!!!!!!

YES. TO. THIS. EVERY. WORD.
in all honesty, and don’t take this the wrong way but there’s no other way to explain this: the rankings are for people who are still in a mindset like high school where they can’t understand like social life without having some sort of hierarchy to understand it. it’s college greek life — they’re all great for different reasons and people are just trying to find a way to create a way to feel better or worse than others, etc.
