who “kitchens” less attractive girls during rush? like i’ve heard rumors dg does but is that still a thing? do pi phi/zeta/chi o do this too? also like how do you find out?

DG definitely does it. They have their “attractive” girls meeting the PNMs while the actives they deem as not the “top 20%” spend the entire rush in the kitchen hiding out. I can’t imagine how the 80% of actives must feel, so bad.

sigma kappa does, coming from a sigma kappa

police were at the house during one morning of recruitment last year due to hazing

every girl in the house had to be interviewed about it

Sk is one of the only houses who doesn’t do it, anyone who works kitchen volunteers to do it
The hazing thing was cause someone was unhappy they had to change their dress lmao that’s why it was cleared and found not in violation

SK does kitchen girls who didn't volunteer. Shaming girls in front of the chapter happened a lot last year. Mentally abusive

the girls (MAYBE 2 or 3) who were kitchened non-voluntarily were because they had terrible attitudes and didn't want to be doing recruitment

For most part all houses do it to a certain extent. Pi phi and DG are the most rude/blunt and harsh about it however

DG doesn’t allow “unattractive” of their members to be on the floor during rush. As far as I know this is the only house that does this

TBH, lots of girls in many houses are introverts and ask to work anywhere other than talking to pnm’s. I did computer input because talking was very stressful
