Cuts? Determining Factors?

Can someone explain how cuts are made? Are grades really a reason for a PNM to be released? If so, what is the GPA minimum? How much do reputation, involvement, and social media influence who gets a bid? Also, what if the above list is weak, but a PNM knows a few girls in the house, do a few actives have enough “pull” to override that?

I’m bumping this bc I want to know too. I’m a transfer student with a 3.0 coming in as a sophomore. I know a few actives in a couple of houses. What are my chances of getting a bid?

depends on the house but most consider grades, leadership and community service. lots of girls at tcu have p bad grades but still get into good chapters. don’t worry abt it too much

knowing girls in a house who are willing to vouch for you can override any of the other factors being low
