Common conversations are superficial like where are you from, what will you be studying, what are your hobbies...The girls in the house are supposed to help you keep the conversation flowing. Be outgoing, smile and seem appreciative in every group. You will feel more connected to some groups than others and that is fine. You are trying to get a feel for where you would have authentic friends. Each day the visits increase in length and substance.

Be yourself!! SMILE! Don't act better than anyone because word gets around. It's going to be very loud and very HOT! Make sure you prepare well, get a lot of those little sheets for oily faces, and mints. The Rho gams have a lot of this stuff. Bring a little portable fan!! (I know this isn't about conversation but they are good tips). When you get into a house don't be intimidated by how loud it is and just focus on the girl infront of you, conversation will flow because we are trained for it to flow. Make sure you get enough sleep the week before recruitment becsuse you'll need it!
