Why should I choose tcu over smu

It really just depends on the scene you need in your life. I’m from Dallas, so SMU was right down the street from me (literally). SMU is very city and posh compared to many schools in Texas. You’d have to be willing to spend money to have a social life & a good time. As for TCU, it’s more down to earth. Students don’t go to high tea every weekend for brunch or nobu to do homework. Of course, money is helpful to keep up with the socialites but it’s not a necessity. However, Greek Life at both schools is an unfortunate pressure. If you’re a GDI, you’re basically a nobody, and it is harder to make friends: No matter the gender.
