For all the rumors going around about a new chapter: I have heard from many people that the new chapter will be Phi Mu. TCU 360 has an old article from 2011 stating that two new chapters were coming to TCU in Fall of 2012 and Fall of 2014. AOPi was obviously chosen for Fall 2012, and the next one must have been Phi Mu for Fall of 2014. You can look at the Phi Mu national website and it says they will be colonizing at TCU. It also states on the Phi Mu wikipedia page that they will be colonizing at TCU in Fall of 2014. I could be wrong, but from the looks of it, it will be Phi Mu. I personally think this is unfair to AOPi to bring a new sorority in so soon after they started though...

Until AOPi gets stronger it seems unfair to bring in more competition that will mainly be against them and ADPi.

Either bringing in Phi Mu will make AOPi stronger because they won't be the newest house anymore or it will do them in. They are doing better each semester so bets are a new house will help them out and give more slots to the new girls which is highly needed.

Just like any chapter there are strong and weak groups according to who joins. We should welcome Phi Mu and support our current houses. They all are of value.

Does anyone ever know if TCU will get a Kappa Delta chapter?

Kappa Delta was at TCU but was removed in 1993 for lack of quota for many years in a row.

AOPi should hold a spring recruitment to bulk up their numbers. We need another house so this in the best interest of the Greek community. They can make it.

It will help AOPi to bring in Phi Mu. They won't be the new house. The new house always gets grief just because they are new. That will move on to Phi Mu now.
