For all the rumors going around about a new chapter: I have heard from many people that the new chapter will be Phi Mu. TCU 360 has an old article from 2011 stating that two new chapters were coming to TCU in Fall of 2012 and Fall of 2014. AOPi was obviously chosen for Fall 2012, and the next one must have been Phi Mu for Fall of 2014. You can look at the Phi Mu national website and it says they will be colonizing at TCU. It also states on the Phi Mu wikipedia page that they will be colonizing at TCU in Fall of 2014. I could be wrong, but from the looks of it, it will be Phi Mu. I personally think this is unfair to AOPi to bring a new sorority in so soon after they started though...

Since every year those going through recruitment grow in number and not everyone who maximized their invites last year got a bid as they have every other year; we need a new house. AOPi has made a strong mark and they will be fine! If Phi Mu comes in the fall lets give them a warm TCU welcome. There are enough girls for every house plus some.

We need more houses to fit all the recruits. If they come that will be a great addition. There are plenty of girls to go around.

AOPi has started to make their mark. They need to be confident they would be fine if a new house comes and with our incoming freshman class growing each year we should happily welcome Phi Mu.

AOPi has grown in number with spring rush and are earning a name. They will be fine. In fact they won't be the new house so their desirability should go up. We need more houses because their are so many girls. They are expecting over 1000 this fall.

Phi Mu has a strong national reputation. We should show them a Texas welcome.

Idk when Phi Mu will start but you won't have to rush to join them the first year. For those that don't feel comfortable with the recruitment week but want to go greek this is a legitimate option.
